Wency Lam (she/they) is a London-based movement practitioner and holistic health provider. Their work weaves together somatics, movement science, and embodied awareness to support reconnection with the self—physically, emotionally, and energetically.
Ways of moving, perceiving. and being.
With a background in dance, theatre, and rehabilitation sciences, Wency facilitates one-to-one sessions, classes, and workshops that nurture self-understanding through the body. Their practice invites people to slow down, feel deeply, and reinhabit themselves with curiosity and care.
Wency holds an MA in Expanded Dance Practice from London Contemporary Dance School and a BSc in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Hong Kong. They are in training to become a certified provider of TRE® (Tension, Stress & Trauma Releasing Exercises), and have pursued further education in Anatomy Trains, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation, Fighting Monkey Practice, Lecoq Technique, and Contact Improvisation.
They have been supported by Arts Council England and have shared their work at The Place, Streatham Space Project, Theatre Deli, and international festivals.
